The Kosovo Agency of Statistics (KAS) for the first time has released the publication with data on the use of information and communication technology in enterprises in 2018.

In 2019, the KAS Department of Economic Statistics for the first time conducted a survey on the use of information and communication technology in enterprises in accordance with the methodology of Eurostat. The survey is conducted on the territory of the Republic of Kosovo in enterprises with 10 or more employees.

According to the results at the survey level, enterprises that used computer for business purposes in 2018 represent 98.6% of enterprises.

According to the results at the survey level, 97.1% of enterprises used the internet for business purposes in 2018.

The maximum download speed of documents > = 10Mbit/s up to <30Mbit/s, is the most used by enterprises with 40%.

Of the enterprises surveyed, 63.1% of them have enterprise web page, while 81.3% of enterprises use social media.

Of the companies surveyed, 11.4% of them made sales through a web page or other computer applications. While 19.0% of them made purchases through web page or any other application through computer.
