The Kosovo Agency of Statistics (KAS) has published the “Transport and Telecommunications Statistics” in Q3 2019, with data on air, rail, and road transportation, and telecommunications.

There are a total of 333 km of railway tracks in the territory of Kosovo.

In the third quarter of 2019, the number of passengers using the train as a means of transport in 90 000.

Freight or transport of goods by train in the third quarter of 2019 is about 372 thousand tons.

In terms of number of flights, in Q3 2019 there were 2 896 flights, or 14% more than in the same quarter last year (Q3 2018).

The number of passengers who used the aircraft as a means of transport during this quarter is about 783 thousand. Compared to the same quarter last year (Q3 2018) there was an increase by 8.52%.
