The Kosovo Agency of Statistics (KAS) has published the "Statistics of Jurisprudence for Juveniles in 2018".

This publication provides statistical data on juvenile offenders accused and convicted in 2018. Data on juvenile offenders are provided according to gender, the nationality of the perpetrator, the manner of solving the indictment, the indictment motion, the type of punishment and the pronounced measures for perpetrators of criminal offences.

According to the results of this publication, the number of juvenile offenders accused in the Basic Courts of the Republic of Kosovo in 2018 is 1,179 persons. The largest number of defendants is in the Basic Court of Prishina with a total of 389 persons, or 33% of the total number.

Out of a total of 1,179 accused persons, 713 persons or 60.5% of the accused are convicted. Also, the highest number of convicts is in the Court of Prishtina with a total of 250 persons or 35.1% of the total number.
