The Kosovo Agency of Statistics (KAS) has published "Jurisprudence Statistics for Adult Persons in 2017".

This publication provides statistical data on adult persons accused and convicted of criminal offenses as well as persons convicted for minor offenses in 2017.

This publication contains data on these indicators: by the manner of resolving the indictment, by the motion for indictment, by gender, by nationality of the perpetrator and the type of punishment.

According to the results of this publication, it results that 26 706 persons have been indicted in the Basic Courts and their branches, with 18 753 persons convicted by a sentencing verdict. Out of the total number of convicts, 971 are females.

Meantime, there are 93 545 minor offences convicts convicted in 2017 of which 88 132 persons have been convicted for traffic offense.
