The Statistical Yearbook of the Republic of Kosovo for the first time was released in 2014 as one of the most specific and comprehensive publications of the Kosovo Agency of Statistics. The Statistical Yearbook 2017 presents a detailed picture of a wide range of statistical topics throughout the territory of the Republic of Kosovo. Each chapter presents statistical data in the form of tables, maps and figures/graphs in different time series accompanied by a brief description of each chapter.

These indicators are presented for some subjects such as Geographic Information, Population, Education, Culture, Social Welfare, Health, Labor Market, Living Standard, Agriculture, Environment, Economy, Structural Enterprise Statistics, Gross Domestic Product, Government Accounts, Hotel, Transport and Communication Statistics, Energy, Construction and Housing, Kosovo International Trade, Prices, Financial Sector, and comparative indicators (international statistics).

In addition to data for the above mentioned subjects, the Statistical Yearbook 2017 also includes data from the Population, Households and Dwellings Census 2011, and data from the Agriculture Census 2014.

The main purpose of the Statistical Yearbook is to provide, in a single edition, a complete summary of social and economic statistics for a given period of time. The Statistical Yearbook presents statistics that have been detailed by KAS Sectors. This publication summarizes many important statistical data, in different time series, relating to the Republic of Kosovo.

The Statistical Yearbook on its content has systematically coordinated the most essential elements of statistical information where this information will serve to show a broad view of the social and economic processes of the Republic of Kosovo.
