The Kosovo Agency of Statistics (KAS) has released the Short-term Services Statistics by presenting the index of the volume of services for the month of September 2022 (2020=100).

This survey, with the data it provides, aims to present the progress in the services sector for the month of September 2022.

In September 2022, the turnover index in the service sectors, compared to the same month of the previous year (September 2021), was: Hotels (68.66%); Trade (40.35%); Transport and Storage (32.32%); Architecture and Engineering Activities (25.77%); Information and Communication (23.34%); Bar-Restaurant (17.05%); and Travel Agencies (2.4%).

Meanwhile, the number of employees in the service sectors, compared to the same month of the previous year (September 2021), was: Trade (32.5%); Architecture and Engineering Activities (23.11%); Information and Communication (16.52%); Transport and Storage (9.55%); Bar-Restaurant (6.36%); Travel Agencies (2.32%); and Hotels (1.98%).
