The Kosovo Agency of Statistics (KAS) based on the Work Plan for 2021 has prepared the publication of the results of Short-term Statistics of Services in the first quarter of 2021 (2017 = 100).

This publication presents the following data:

Indicators in the activity Trade, in the first quarter 2021, are presented as follows: Net sales volume index increased by 15.69%, compared to the same period a year earlier; The number of employees index increased by 6.37%, compared to the same period of the previous year.

Indicators in the activity Transport, Postal and Warehousing, in the first quarter of 2021, are presented as follows: Net sales volume index decreased by 8.04%, compared to the first quarter of 2020; The number of employees index increased by 46.37%, compared to the same period of the previous year.

Indicators in the activity Bar-Restaurants, in the first quarter of 2021, are presented as follows: Net sales volume index increased by 100.78%, compared to the same period of the previous year; The number of employees index increased by 9.10%, compared to the same period of the previous year.

Indicators in the activity Information and Communication, in the first quarter of 2021, are presented as follows: Net sales volume index increased by 20.29%, compared to the first quarter of 2020; The number of employees index increased by 37.70%, compared to the first quarter of 2020.
