Short-term Services Statistics, June 2022
The Kosovo Agency of Statistics (KAS) has released the Short-term Services Statistics by presenting the index of the volume of services for the month of June 2022 (2020=100)
With the data it provides, this survey aims to present the performance in the services sector in June 2022.
In the month of June 2022, the turnover index in the service sectors, compared to the same month of the previous year (June 2021), was: Hotels 88.03%; Information and Communication (55.31%); Architectural and Engineering Activities (48.94%); Trade (47.61%); Transport and Storage (38.93%); Travel Agencies (27.07%); and Bar-Restaurant (21.26%).
The number of employees in the service sectors, in the month of June 2022, compared to the month of June 2021 was: Trade (34.85%); Architectural and Engineering Activities (10.16%); Transport and Storage (9.83%); Hotels (7.6%); Bar-Restaurant (6.87%); Information and Communication (6.83%); and Travel Agencies (4.41%).
