The Kosovo Agency of Statistics (KAS) has released the Short-term Statistics of Services by presenting the index of the volume of services for the month of February 2023 (2020=100).

This survey, with the data it provides, aims to present the progress in the services sector for the month of February 2023.

In February 2023, the turnover index in the service sectors, compared to the same month of the previous year (February 2022), had an increase in: Travel agencies (104.38%); Hotels (72.28%); Architecture and Engineering Activities (43.92%); Trade (34.5%); Transport and Storage (21.78%); Information and Communication (21.72%); Bar-Restaurants (16.9%).

Whereas, the number of employees in the service sectors, compared to the same month of the previous year (February 2022), had an increase in: Trade (31.44%); Architecture and Engineering Activities (18.93%); Information and Communication (11.62%); Transport and Storage (11.2%); Travel agencies (3.37%); Bar-Restaurants (3.06%); and Hotels (0.37%).
