The Kosovo Agency of Statistics (KAS) has released the Short-term Services Statistics by presenting the index of the volume of services for the month of August 2022 (2020=100).

In August 2022, the turnover index in the service sectors, compared to the same month of the previous year (August 2021), was: Hotels (23.62%); Information and Communication (17.99%); Architecture and Engineering Activities (16.26%); Trade (12.4%); Bar-Restaurant (1.07%); Transport and Storage (-2.7%); and Travel Agency (-10.21%).

Meanwhile, the number of employees in the service sectors, compared to the same month of the previous year (August 2021), was: Trade (32.26%); Architecture and Engineering Activities (21.25%); Information and Communication (11.62%); Transport and Storage (8.99%); Bar-Restaurant (7.16%); Hotels (3.06%); and Travel Agency (0.94%).
