The Kosovo Agency of Statistics (KAS) has published for the first time the results of Short-term Services Statistics for the period Q4 2020 (2017 = 100).

This publication presents data of indicators in: trade, transport, storage and post mail, bar-restaurants, and in information and traffic.

Indices of trade indicators, in the fourth quarter of 2020 (Q4 2020), are as follows: Net sales volume index decreased by (-22.34%), compared to the same period a year earlier (Q4 2019); The number of employees index decreased by (-16.38%), compared to the same period a year earlier (Q4 2019).

The indices of indicators in transport, storage and post mail, in Q4 2020, are presented as follows: Net sales volume index decreased by (-10.46%), compared to Q4 2019; The number of employees index decreased by (-18.19%), compared to Q4 2019.

The indices of indicators in bar-restaurants, in Q4 2020, are presented as follows: Net sales volume index decreased by (-21.89%), compared to the same period a year earlier (Q4 2019); The number of employees index increased by 15.01% in Q4 2020, compared to the same period a year earlier (Q4 2019).

Indices of indicators in information and communication, in Q4 2020, are presented as follows: Net sales volume index increased by 9.87% in Q4 2020, compared to Q4 2019; The number of employees index decreased (-18.70%) in Q4 2020, compared to Q4 2019.
