The Kosovo Agency of Statistics (KAS) has published the "Short-term Retail Trade Statistics" in the second quarter of 2020 (Q2 2020).

This publication presents data on turnover and number of employees.

In the second quarter of 2020, compared to the first quarter of 2020, there was an increase in: Retail trade of IT and communication equipment in specialized stores (32.6%); Retail trade of other household appliances in specialized stores (14.6%); and Retail trade not in shops, stalls or markets (10.6%).

During this quarter, the following have declined: Retail trade of fuel for vehicles in specialized stores (9.1%); Retail sale of food products, beverages and tobacco in specialized stores (7.1%); Retail trade of other goods in specialized stores (6.5%); Retail trade of cultural and entertainment goods in specialized stores (4.7%); and Retail trade of other goods in non-specialized stores (0.7%).
