The Kosovo Agency of Statistics (KAS) has released the Short-term Retail Trade Statistics for the month of October 2022.

This publication presents data on turnover and the number of employees.

In October 2022, the turnover structure was: Retail trade in non-specialized stores (31.79%); Retail trade of fuel for motor vehicles in specialized stores (31.6%); Retail trade of other household appliances in specialized stores (17.42%); Retail trade of other goods in specialized stores (13.13%); Retail trade of food products, beverages and tobacco in specialized stores (3.58%); Retail trade  not in stores (by mail or online) (0.85%); Retail trade of cultural and entertainment goods in specialized stores (0.79%); Retail trade of IT and communication equipment in specialized stores (0.75%); and Retail trade not in shops, stalls or markets (0.08%).

Meanwhile, the structure of employees by economic activity was: Retail trade in non-specialized stores (36.76%); Retail trade of other household appliances in specialized stores (23.62%); Retail trade of other goods in specialized stores (22.49%); Retail trade of fuel for motor vehicles in specialized stores (9.78%); Retail trade of food products, beverages and tobacco in specialized stores (4.16%); Retail trade of IT and communication equipment in specialized stores (1.28%); Retail trade of cultural and entertainment goods in specialized stores (1.23%); Retail trade  not in stores (by mail or online) (0.4%); Retail trade not in shops, stalls or markets (0.29%).
