The Kosovo Agency of Statistics (KAS) has released the Short-term Retail Trade Statistics for the month of December 2022.

This publication presents data on turnover and the number of employees.

In December 2022, the turnover structure was: Retail trade in non-specialized stores (38.91%); Retail trade of fuel for motor vehicles in specialized stores (23.28%); Retail trade of other household appliances in specialized stores (16.74%); Retail trade of other goods in specialized stores (14.38%); Retail trade of food products, beverages and tobacco in specialized stores (3.93%); Retail trade of IT and communication equipment in specialized stores (1.05%); Retail trade of cultural and entertainment goods in specialized stores (0.88%); Retail trade not in stores (by mail or online) (0.67%); and Retail trade not in shops, stalls or markets (0.15%).

Whereas, the structure of employees by economic activities was: Retail trade in non-specialized stores (36.46%); Retail trade of food products, beverages and tobacco in specialized stores (4.15%); Retail trade of fuel for motor vehicles in specialized stores (10.41%); Retail trade of IT and communication equipment in specialized stores (1.32%); Retail trade of other household appliances in specialized stores (23.35%); Retail trade of cultural and entertainment goods in specialized stores (1.23%); Retail trade of other goods in specialized stores (22.42%); Retail trade not in shops, stalls or markets (0.28%) and Retail trade  not in stores (by mail or online) (0.38%).
