The Kosovo Agency of Statistics (KAS) has released the Short-term Industry Statistics by presenting the industrial volume index for the month of October 2022 (2020=100).

With the data it provides, this publication aims to present the progress in the industry: B – Mining and Quarrying, C – Manufacturing, D - Electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply, and E - Water supply, sewerage waste management and remediation activities, in monthly periods in order to understand the cycle of development in industry.

In October 2022, compared to the same month of the previous year (October 2021), the turnover index in the industry sectors was: Water supply, sewerage waste management and remediation activities (0.28%); Manufacturing industry (0.21%); Electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply (-0.03%); Mining and quarrying (-0.03%).

Meanwhile, the index of the number of employees in the industry sectors, compared to the same month of the previous year (October 2021), was: Water supply, sewerage waste management and remediation activities (0.00%); Mining and quarrying (-0.06%); Manufacturing industry (-0.05%); Electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply (-0.03%).
