The Kosovo Agency of Statistics (KAS) has released the Short-term Industry Statistics by presenting the industrial volume index for the month of June 2022 (2020=100).

With the data it provides, this survey aims to present the performance in the industry: B – Mining and Quarrying, C – Manufacturing, D - Electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply, and E - Water supply, sewerage waste management and remediation activities, in quarterly periods in order to understand the cycle of development in industry.

In the month of June 2022, compared to the same month of the previous year (June 2021), the turnover index in the industry sectors had an increase in: Water supply, waste management and treatment activities (6.10%); and Manufacturing industry (0.70%). Meanwhile, there was a decrease in: Electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply (-0.82%) and Mining industry (-0.72%).

Meanwhile, the structure of the number of workers increased in: Mining industry (0.03%); and Water supply, waste management and treatment activities (0.02%).

However, there was a decrease in: Electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply (-0.04%); and Manufacturing industry (-0.01%).
