The Kosovo Agency of Statistics (KAS) has released the Short-term Industry Statistics by presenting the industrial volume index for the month of July 2022 (2020=100).

With the data it provides, this survey aims to present the performance in the industry: B – Mining and Quarrying, C – Manufacturing, D - Electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply, and E - Water supply, sewerage waste management and remediation activities, in quarterly periods in order to understand the cycle of development in industry.

In the month of July 2022, compared to the same month of the previous year (July 2021), the turnover index in the industry sectors was: Water supply, waste management and treatment activities 0.62%; Electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply 0.18%; Manufacturing industry 0.02%; while the Mining industry had a decrease by (0.23%).

In July 2022, compared to the same month of the previous year (July 2021), the index of the number of employees in the industry sectors was: Water supply, waste management and treatment activities 0.02%; Electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply (0.05%); Mining industry (-0.03%); Manufacturing industry (-0.01%)
