The Kosovo Agency of Statistics (KAS) has released the Short-term Industry Statistics by presenting the industrial volume index for the month of February (2020=100).

With the data it provides, this publication aims to present the progress in the industry: B – Mining and Quarrying, C – Manufacturing, D - Electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply, and E - Water supply, sewerage waste management and remediation activities, in monthly periods in order to understand the cycle of development in industry.

In February 2023, compared to the same month of the previous year (February 2022), the turnover index in the industry sectors was: Water supply, waste management and treatment activities (0.45%); Electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply (0.03%); Mining and quarrying (-0.27%); and Manufacturing industry (-0.02%).

Whereas, the index of the number of employees in the industry sectors, compared to the same month of the previous year (February 2022) was: Water supply, waste management and treatment activities (0.00%); Mining and quarrying (-0.07%); Electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply (-0.03%); and Manufacturing industry (-0.02%).
