The Kosovo Agency of Statistics (KAS) has released the Results of the Survey of the usage of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) for the year 2022.

This publication provides data on the use of information and communication technology in the entire territory of the Republic of Kosovo by households and individuals in the category of age 16-74 years.

From the results of this publication, it results that in 2022, households in Kosovo had access to the Internet from home, from any device, with 97.9%, while 1.8% of households stated that they did not have access to the Internet from any type of device.

Also, from the data, it results that the use of the Internet by males dominates with 55.2%, compared to females with 43.6%. Whereas, the age group that had access to the Internet with the highest percentage is the 35-44 age group with 21.8%.

Meanwhile, the use of the Internet to buy or order goods and services through the Internet in the three months before the interview was 51%.
