The Kosovo Agency of Statistics (KAS) has released the results of the Survey on the Usage of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in 2021.

This publication provides data on the use of information and communication technology throughout the territory of the Republic of Kosovo by households and individuals in the category of age 16-74 years.

From the results of this publication, it results that in 2021, households in Kosovo had access to the Internet from home, from any device, of 96.1%, while 2.1% of households stated that they did not have access to the Internet from no kind of equipment. Internet access has mainly been from mobile phones, followed by desktop computers, laptops, tablets, etc.

Meanwhile, the use of the Internet to buy or order goods and services through the Internet was 23.1% (three months before the interview).
