Results of the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Survey, 2017

Kosovo Agency of Statistics (KAS) for the first time has published the results of the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Survey for 2017.

This publication provides data on the use of information and communication technology throughout the territory of the Republic of Kosovo by households and individuals of the age group 16-74 years old.

The results of this publication indicate that in 2017, 61.3% of households in Kosovo had access to computers, while 38.7% of them stated that they had no access to any type of electronic computer device (such as desktop, laptop, netbook, tablet), excluding smart phones.

Meanwhile, 88.8% of households had access to internet at home from any device.

Whereas, the use of computers and internet by individuals results to be 38.7%, while the use of the internet is 82.9%.
