The Kosovo Agency of Statistics (KAS) has published the annual results for the industrial production statistics "PRODCOM Statistics" in 2017.

This publication, with the data it provides, aims to present the industry performance: B – Mining, C – Manufacturing and E - Water supply, sewerage, waste management and remediation activities, on an annual basis through which to understand the development cycle in the industry.

The annual publication of PRODCOM's statistics for the reference year 2017 contains data on the structure of: the number of employees, production and sales realized by sectors.

According to data from this survey, it is observed that the industry branch for the production of beverages and food products dominates the engagement and realization, namely the percentages (%) (according to NACE Rev.2 starts with double digit code -10): the employment by 22.12%, the production realized 62.69%, compared to the previous year in this sector the employment increased by 4.20%, while in production the increase has been much more pronounced and marked 27.77%.
