The Kosovo Agency of Statistics (KAS) has released the data of the Kosovo Government Accounts on a quarterly basis (Q4 2021).

This publication presents the statements of government revenues and expenditures within this period.

The total amount of revenues of the General Government in Q4 2021 were 627.1 million Euros, where compared to the same period of 2020 (Q4 2020), which were 703.2 million Euros, there is a decrease in revenues.

Most of the revenues are taxes on products, which represent 69.8% of total revenues, while the remaining part is distributed to other categories of revenues.

The total expenditures of the General Government in Q4 2021 were 822.6 million Euros, which is an increase of expenditures compared to the same period last year (Q4 2020), which were 817.1 million Euros.

The largest share of expenditures consists of: social contributions and benefits by 23.8%; compensation of employees by 19.6%; gross capital formation by 15.9%; intermediate consumption by 15.2%, while the rest of the expenditures are distributed in other categories of expenditures.
