The Kosovo Agency of Statistics (KAS) has compiled the publication of Kosovo Government Accounts in the period 2015-2020. This publication presents the statements of government revenues and expenditures within this period.

General Government income in 2020 were 2 205.4 million Euros. Most of the income are taxes on products which represent 58% of total income; financial activities and liabilities (21%); while the rest of the income are distributed to other categories of income.

In 2020, the amount of General Government expenditures was 2 332.2 million Euros. The largest share of expenditures consists of: social contributions and benefits (29%); compensation of employees (28%); gross capital formation (13%); intermediate consumption (10%); while the rest of the expenditures are distributed to other categories of expenditures.

This publication has been prepared in full compliance with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and Government Finance Statistics Manual (GFSM 2014) and the European System of Accounts (ESA 2010).
