Kosovo Agency of Statistics (KAS) has published the Hotel Statistics in Kosovo for the fourth quarter (Q4) of 2016.

In the fourth quarter of 2016 (Q4 2016) part of the survey were 121 hotels that operate in the territory of Kosovo. Most of the hotels are located in the region of Prishtina, Peja, Gjakova, etc. According to the survey, utilizing capacity at the country level is 10.11%.

In this quarter, the number of visitors was 26 486, of which 29.61% were local visitors and 70.39% were foreign visitors. While the number of overnights was 41 303, of which: 26.09% of overnight stays were by locals and 73.91% by foreigners.

The largest number of visitors and their nights of stay has Prishtina region with 17 013 visitors and 25 543 nights of stay.

The largest number of foreign visitors centers in Prishtina and Peja. Regarding foreign visitors, the highest number is from Albania, Turkey, Germany, etc.
