Kosovo Agency of Statistics (KAS) has published "Hotel Statistics" in Kosovo for the first quarter (Q1) of 2017.

In the first quarter of 2017 (Q1 2017), part of the survey were 130 hotels, which operate hotel activities in the territory of Kosovo. Most of the hotels are located in the region of Prishtina, Gjakova, Ferizaj, etc. According to the survey, the capacity utilized at the country level was 10.11%.

In this quarter (Q1 2017), the number of visitors was 24 533, of which 31.89% were local visitors and 68.11% were foreign visitors. Whereas, the number of nights of stay in the Q1 2017 was 36 080, of which 27.22% were from locals and 72.78% from foreigners.

The largest number of visitors and their nights of stay is region of Prishtina with 15 047 visitors and 23 246 nights of stay.

The largest number of foreign visitors is concentrated in Prishtina, Prizren, and so on.

As for foreign visitors, the largest number of them was from Albania, Turkey, Germany, etc.
