The Kosovo Agency of Statistics (KAS) has released the data on Hotel Statistics for the month of August 2022.

In August 2022, part of the survey were 209 hotels which operate in the territory of Kosovo.

According to the data from this survey, the number of visitors (local and foreign) was 60 952 of which 29.50% were local visitors and 70.50% were foreign visitors. Whereas, the number of nights of stay was 121 478 of which 32.13% by local visitors and 67.87% by foreign visitors.

The largest number of visitors and their nights of stay has the region of Prishtina with 20 548 visitors, while the region of Peja had the largest number of nights of stay with 51 270 overnight stays.

The largest number of foreign visitors was concentrated in Prishtina, Peja, Prizren, and so on.

Regarding foreign visitors, the largest number was from: Germany, Albania, Switzerland, etc.
