The Kosovo Agency of Statistics (KAS) has revised the data of the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) for the third quarter (Q3) of 2022, according to economic activities and by expenditure approach, at current prices and prices of the previous year.

GDP in Q3 2022 marks a real increase by 3.26%, compared to the same quarter of the previous year (Q3 2021).

Due to the revision of the data of Balance of Payments by the Central Bank, which data were released after the publication of the Gross Domestic Product for Q32022;

After the analysis of the producer price index, which is used as a deflator in the National Accounts, it is observed that the volume of production in the economic activity Nace 3511 has increased. In this case, it was decided to change this deflator and take the activity index 3511 (generation of electricity) for deflation.

Based on the European Code of Practice, Principle 4 "Commitment to quality", the Kosovo Agency of Statistics is constantly committed to data quality.

Gross Domestic Product data, on a quarterly basis for 2022, are preliminary data, until the release of annual data for this period, when they are considered final data.
