The Kosovo Agency of Statistics (KAS) has released the data of the Kosovo Government Accounts on a quarterly basis (Q4 2022). This publication presents the statements of government revenues and expenditures within this period.

The total amount of revenues of the General Government in Q4 2022 were 732.1 million Euros, which is an increase in revenues, compared to the same period of the previous year (Q4 2021), which were 627.1 million Euros.

Most of the revenues is made up of: taxes on products (67.0%) of total revenues; current taxes on income (13.0%); financial assets and liabilities (11.0%); payments for non-commercial products (4.0%); while the remaining part is distributed in other categories of revenues..

The total expenditures of the General Government in Q4 2022 were 966.5 million Euros, which is an increase in expenditures, compared to the same period of the previous year (Q4 2021), which were 822.6 million Euros.

The largest share of expenditures consists of: social contributions and benefits by 19.0%; subsidies by 18.0%; compensation of employees by 18.0%; gross capital formation by 15.0%; while the remaining part of the expenditures is distributed in other categories of expenditures.
