Kosovo Agency of Statistics (KAS) has released the publication of Government Accounts for Q2 2022. This publication presents the statements of Government revenues and expenditures during this period of time.

The total amount of General Government revenues in Q2 2022 was 635,2 million Euros, while the amount of revenues in Q2 2021 was 660,0 million Euros.

Most of the revenues are comprised from taxes on products, which represent 67% of the total of revenues, current taxes on income 18%, financial assets and liabilities 6%, payments for non-market output 4%, other taxes on production 2%, while the rest is distributed into other categories of revenues.

The total amount of General Government expenditures in Q2 2022 was 581,7 million Euros, while expenditures in Q2 2021 were 505,9 million Euros.

Most of the expenditures are comprised from social contributions and benefits, which represents 31%, compensation of employees, which represents 28%, intermediate consumption 14%, subsidies 9%, while the rest is distributed into other categories of expenditures.
