The Kosovo Agency of   Statistics (KAS) has released the Government Accounts of Kosovo for the period 2015-2022.

This publication presents an overview of government revenues and expenditures within this period.

Total revenues of the General Government for 2022 were 2 622.4 million Euros. The largest part of revenues is made up of taxes on products, which represent 71% of total revenues; current income taxes 15%; while the remaining part is distributed in other categories of revenues.

Total expenditures of the General Government were 2 623.8 million Euros. The largest part of expenditures is made up of: social contributions and benefits (25%); workers' compensation (24%); subsidies (15%); intermediate consumption (14%); while the remaining part of the expenditures is distributed in other categories of expenditures.

This publication has been prepared in full compliance with the International Monetary Fund's Government Finance Statistics Manual (GFSM 2014) and the European System of Accounts (ESA 2010).
