Kosovo Agency of Statistics (KAS) has published the "Energy Balance" for Q4 2017. This publication presents data on coal production, data on energy production and consumption, import and export of energy, as well as imports and export of other fuels.

During the fourth quarter of 2017 (Q4 2017), the total value of coal production is about 1.71 thousand tons. Whereas, the gross amount of electricity produced in the power plants is 1 131.6 GWh and in the hydro power plants is 30.9 GWh.

Regarding imported energy values, respectively exported, during the fourth quarter of 2017, Kosovo imported 380.9 GWh of electricity, while during the same period, ie Q4 2017, Kosovo has exported 90.0 GWh of electricity.

In the fourth quarter of 2017, the amount of electricity consumed in Kosovo is 1 094.0 GWh of electricity. Compared to the same quarter last year (Q4 2016), the amount of electricity consumed raised by 18.5%.
