The Kosovo Agency of Statistics (KAS) has published “Energy Balance” in Q3 2019. This publication presents data on coal production, data on energy production and consumption, import and export of energy, as well as import and export of other fuels.

During the third quarter of 2019 (Q3 2019) the total value of coal production is about 1.84 thousand tons. Whereas, the gross amount of electricity produced in power plants is 1 338.1 GWh, while in hydropower plants it is about 79.2 GWh.

Regarding the imported and exported of energy values in the third quarter of 2019, Kosovo imported 410.9 GWh of electricity, while exported 437.1 GWh of electricity.

The amount of electricity consumed in Q3 2019 was 1 034.7 GWh of electricity. Compared to the same quarter last year (Q3 2018), the amount of electricity consumed increased by 11.80%.
