Kosovo Agency of Statistics (KAS) has published the "Energy Balance" for Q3 2017. This publication presents data on coal production, data on energy production and consumption, import and export of energy, as well as imports and export of other fuels.

During the third quarter of 2017 (Q3 2017) the total value of coal production is about 1.80 thousand tons. Whereas, the gross amount of electricity produced in the power plants is 1 316.8 GWh and in the hydro power plants is 23.0 GWh.

Regarding imported and exported energy values ​​during the third quarter of 2017, Kosovo imported 66.7 GWh of electricity, while during the same period, i.e. Q3 2017, Kosovo exported 194.4GWh of electricity.

In the third quarter of 2017, the amount of electricity consumed in Kosovo is 958.8 GWh of electricity. Compared with the same quarter last year (Q3 2016), the amount of electricity consumed rose by 14.3%.
