Kosovo Agency of Statistics (KAS) has published "Energy Balance" for Q3 2016. In this publication are presented data on coal production, the data on production and consumption of energy, the import and export of electricity, as well as import and exports of other energy fuels.

During the third quarter of 2016 (Q3 2016), the total value of coal production is about our 2 271 900 tons. Whereas the gross amount of electricity produced in power plants is 1 263.1 GWh, and in hydro power plants is 38.3 GWh.

Regarding the value of imported energy, exported respectively, during the third quarter of 2016, Kosovo has imported 141.8 GWh of electricity, while exported 199.4 GWh of electricity.

In the third quarter of 2016, the amount of electricity consumed in Kosovo is 831.0 GWh of electricity.

In relation to the same quarter last year (Q3 2015), the amount of electricity consumed decreased by 11.7%.
