The Kosovo Agency of Statistics (KAS) has published the "Energy Balance in Q4 2018”. This publication presents data on coal production, data on energy production and consumption, import and export of energy, as well as imports and export of other fuels.

During the fourth quarter of 2018 (Q4 2018) the total value of coal production was about 1.93 thousand tons. Whereas, the gross amount of electricity produced in the power plant is 1 362.1 GWh, and in the hydro power plant it is was about 54.1 GWh.

Regarding imported and exported energy values during the fourth quarter of 2018, Kosovo imported 347.6 GWh of electricity, while during the same period (Q4 2018) Kosovo has exported 88.6 GWh of electricity.

In the fourth quarter of 2018, the amount of electricity consumed was 1 159.2 GWh of electricity. In relation to the same quarter last year (Q4 2017), the amount of electricity consumed increased by 6.0%.
