The Kosovo Agency of Statistics (KAS) has published the "Energy Balance in Q3 2018". This publication presents data on coal production, data on energy production and consumption, import and export of energy, as well as import and export of other fuels.

During the third quarter of 2018 (Q3 2018), the total value of coal production is about 1.63 thousand tonnes. Whereas, the gross amount of electricity produced in the power plants is 1 178.4 GWh, and in the hydro power plant it is about 69.4 GWh.

Regarding imported and exported energy values ​​during the third quarter of 2018, Kosovo imported 169.3 GWh of electricity, while during the same period Kosovo exported 132.2 GWh of electricity.

In the third quarter of 2018, the amount of electricity consumed was 947.7 GWh of electricity. Compared to the same quarter last year (Q3 2017), the amount of electricity consumed decreased by 1.2%.
