The Kosovo Agency of Statistics (KAS) has released the data on coal production and consumption, data on energy production and consumption, data on energy import and export and data on import and export of other energy resources. This statistical publication presents statistical data for the month of April 2022.

In the month of April 2022, the gross generation from power plants was 563.94 GWh, the gross generation from hydropower was 13.13 GWh. and gross wind and solar generation of electricity was 34.58 GWh.

During the month of April 2022, the available gross electricity was 572.05 GWh while electricity consumption was 459.68 GWh or -9.48% lower than the same month of the previous year. The share of alternative electricity within the total consumption was 11.46%.

Meanwhile, the import of electricity in the month of April 2022 was 206.1 GWh, while the export of electricity in the same period was 245.7 GWh.

Coal production was about 6.49 thousand tons, or 11.39% less than in the same month of the previous year.
