Economic Accounts for Agriculture, 2020
The Kosovo Agency of Statistics (KAS) has published data for "Economic Accounts for Agriculture" in 2020.
This publication includes data on crop outputs, livestock outputs and farm expenditures, in monetary terms. The values are presented by output prices, current and constant prices.
In 2020, crop outputs increased by 8.3%, compared to 2019. The increase in the value of crop output can be mainly explained by the increase in production of cereals, fodder crops, fruits and potatoes.
Livestock outputs have also increased by 2.7% in 2020, compared to 2019. The increase can be explained by the increase in the value of livestock outputs.
Total crop and livestock outputs have increased by 6.0% in 2020, compared to 2019.
Total intermediate consumption is estimated at around 316.3 million Euros in 2020, which represents an increase by 3.6%, compared to 2019.
Economic Accounts for Agriculture in 2018 are compiled according to the methodology defined by Eurostat: Manual on the economic accounts for agriculture and forestry EAA / EAF 97 (Rev.1.1) and Commission Regulation (EC) no. 306/2005.
