Economic Accounts for Agriculture, 2017
Kosovo Agency of Statistics (KAS) has published "Economic Accounts for Agriculture" in 2017.
This publication includes data on plant outputs, livestock outputs and farm expenditure, in monetary terms.
The values are presented by output, current and constant prices.
In 2017, plant outputs decreased by (-2.4%) compared to 2016. The decrease in the value of plant outputs can be explained by the decrease in cereals and fruit outputs.
Whereas, livestock outputs have increased by 0.1% in 2017 compared to 2016. Growth may be explained by the increase in the value of livestock outputs.
Meanwhile, total plant and livestock outputs decreased by (-1.3%) in 2017 compared to 2016.
Meanwhile, total intermediate consumption is estimated at about 270.6 million euros in 2017, an increase by 5.3% compared to 2016.
