Kosovo Agency of Statistics (KAS) has published “Economic Accounts for Agriculture 2015”. 

The publication includes data for crop output, animal output and farm expenditures, in monetary terms.

Values are presented at producer, current and constant prices.

In 2015, crop output increased by 8.0% comparing to 2014. The increase can be explained by the increase in production of vegetables and horticultural products and forage plants.

Animal output increased by 7.7% in 2015 comparing to 2014. The increase can be explained by the fact that in 2015 the value of animals and animal’s products is increased.

Therefore, the total agricultural goods output increased by 7.9% in 2015, comparing to 2014.

While, the total intermediate consumption increased by 2.6% in 2015, comparing to 2014.

Economic Accounts for Agriculture compiled according to the methodology laid down by Eurostat: Manual on Economic Accounts for Agriculture and Forestry EAA/EAF 97 (Rev.1.1) and Commission Regulation (EC) No. 306/2005.
