Kosovo Agency of Statistics (KAS) has published the "Culture Statistics" in 2020.

This publication provides statistical data related to the activities of theaters, houses of culture, galleries, museums, libraries, cinemas, ballet, philharmonic, ensemble and cultural center for children.

Due to the measures taken by the Government of the Republic of Kosovo to prevent and combat the COVID-19 Pandemic, in certain periods during 2020 there was a closure or restriction of the development of many activities in the country, including cultural activities. Therefore, this has affected the decline in the number of all cultural activities: the activities of libraries, cinemas, museums, art galleries, theaters, philharmonic, ballet and houses of culture.

According to the results of this publication, it turns out that the number of performances at the National Theater in Prishtina was 60 theatrical performances and reruns, while there were 3 509 viewers; the number of performances realized in the Children's Theater "Dodona" was 50 theatrical performances and reruns, with 3 767 viewers; The number of performances at the Oda Theater was 23 theatrical performances and reruns, with 2 706 viewers.

In the art galleries are galleries 17 exhibitions with 15 242 visitors.

The number of films screened at the Cineplexx Cinema was 54, of which 3 domestic films and 51 foreign films, while the number of viewers was 112 718; the number of films screened at the Doku-Kino Cinema was 18, of which one (1) domestic film and 17 foreign films, while the number of viewers was 966; The number of films screened at the "Jusuf Gërvalla" Cinema was 32, of which 10 domestic films and 22 foreign films, while the number of viewers was 1 920.

The number of book stock in the libraries was 1 884 872, while the number of readers was 39 668.

The number of museums and museum houses was 72, while the number of visitors was 22 988.
