The Kosovo Agency of Statistics (KAS) has published “Culture Statistics in 2018”.

This publication provides statistical information on the activities of theaters, cultural houses, galleries, museums, libraries, cinemas, ballet, philharmonic, ensemble and cultural center for children.

According to the results of this publication, the National Theater in Prishtina had 178 premiere and reruns shows, while the number of viewers was 10 557; the number of performances at the Children's Theater “Dodona” was 127 premieres and reruns, while the number of viewers was 10 551; the number of performances at the “Oda” Theater was 55 premieres and reruns, while the number of viewers was 11 176.

At the Art Galleries, the number of exhibitions was 43, and the number of visitors was 16 653.

In ABC Cinema, the number of films screened was 62, of them 3 domestic and 59 foreign, while the number of viewers was 9 110.

At CINEPLEX cinema, the number of films screened was 167, of which 4 were domestic and 163 foreign, while the number of viewers was 335 385.

In DOKU-KINO and DOKUFEST cinema, the number of films screened was 330, of which 24 were domestic and 306 foreign, while the number of viewers was 45 000.

In the cinema "Jusuf Gervalla", the number of films screened was 148, of them 11 domestic and 137 foreign films, while the number of viewers was 3 097.

The library book stock was 1 775 435, while the number of readers was 156 535.

The number of museums and museum houses was 81, while the number of visitors was 101 994.
