Kosovo Agency of Statistics (KAS) has published Culture Statistics for 2016.

This publication provides statistical data on the activities of theaters, cultural houses, galleries, museums, libraries, cinemas, ballet, philharmonic, ensemble and children's cultural center.

According to the results of this publication, it turns out that the number of performances at the National Theater in Prishtina was 137 premiere and replay shows, while the number of viewers was 15 320; the number of performances performed at the Children's Theater "Dodona" was 253 premiere and replay shows, while the number of viewers was 25,540; the number of performances performed at "Oda" Theater was 80 premieres and replays, while the number of viewers was 25 461.

The number of exhibits in Art galleries was 32, while the number of visitors was 14 582.

The number of movies shown at the ABC cinema was 62, of which 6 domestic films and 56 foreign films, while the number of viewers was 38 300; the number of movies shown in Doku-Kino and DOKUFEST cinemas was 307, of which 39 domestic films and 268 foreign films, while the number of viewers was 23 258.

The book fund in the libraries was 1 793 073, while the number of readers was 278 201.

The number of museums and museum houses was 64, while the number of visitors was 104 935.
