The Kosovo Agency of Statistics (KAS) has published the Construction Cost Index (CCI) in the second quarter of 2020 (Q2 2020).

The total Construction Cost Index in Kosovo (CCI) decreased by (-0.1%) in the second quarter of Q2 2020, compared to Q1 2020. Transport decreased by (-4.0%); energy (-1.8%); and other costs (-0.8%).

The decrease in prices was neutralized mainly with the increase in prices of machinery (0.5%) and materials (0.2%).

Meanwhile, compared the Q2 2020 with the same period of the previous year (Q2 2019), the Construction Cost Index decreased by (-1.3%). The decline of the index was mainly observed in the categories: wages (-3.3%); materials (-1.6%); and energy (-1.0%).

While there was an increase in: transport (8.0%); machinery (1.7%); and other costs (0.2%).
