The Kosovo Agency of Statistics (KAS) has released the Construction Cost Index (CCI) for the second quarter (Q2) 2022.

The total Construction Cost Index in Kosovo (IKN) increased by 2.2% in the second quarter (Q2) 2022, compared to the first quarter (Q1) 2022. The biggest increases were in: transport (13.1%); other costs (4.7%); machinery (4.0%); materials (1.7%); wages (1.4%); and energy (0.6%).

Meanwhile, comparing Q2 2022 with the same period of the previous year (Q2 2021), the Construction Cost Index increased by 19.8%. The rise of the index was mainly observed in: transport (35.5%); materials (22.0%); energy (15.6%); other costs (12.6%); machinery (12.2%); and wages (9.1%).
