The Kosovo Agency of Statistics (KAS) has published the "Construction Cost Index" (CCI) for the second quarter of 2018 (Q2 2018).

The Kosovo Construction Cost Index (CCI) rose by 1.7% in the second quarter of 2018 (Q2 2018) compared to Q1 2018. The biggest increase was to categories: energy (3.1%) and materials (2.3%). Meanwhile, construction materials and hydro-sanitary materials increased by (2.5%) respectively (2.2%).

Compared the Q2 2018 with the same period of the previous year Q2 2017, the Construction Cost Index had an increase by 2.1%. The increase of the index was mainly observed in the category of materials (3.2%) and other costs (0.7%). Meanwhile, the decrease was observed to the categories: machinery (-2.2%) and energy (-1.5%).
