Gross Domestic Product (GDP) by economic activity and expenditure approach (at current and constant prices), Q3 2017
Kosovo Agency of Statistics (KAS) has published the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) for the third quarter of 2017 (Q3 2017), according to economic activities and the expenditure approach, at current and constant prices.
GDP in Q3 of 2017 marks a real increase of 4.4% compared to Q3 of 2016.
Real GDP growth by economic activity is as follows: Electricity, water supply and waste treatment (3.1%); Financial and insurance activities (25.6%); Construction (9.6%); Transport and storage (7.48%); Mining industry (6.3%); Wholesale and retail trade (7.6%); Hotels and restaurants (4.05%); Agriculture, hunting and forestry (3.34%); Manufacturing industry (6.3%); and Real estate business (2.01%).
While, real decline was in public administration data (1.68%).
GDP according to the expenditure approach has increased in: Export of goods and services (29.39%); Gross Capital Formation (8.83%); and in the Import of goods and services (6.72%).
Meanwhile, the real decline was to: Cost of final consumption of household and non-profit institutions serving households (7.65%); Government’s Final Consumption Expenditures (1.35%), compared to the same period of the previous year.
