Gross Domestic Product by economic activity and expenditure approach (at current and constant prices), Q3 2018
The Kosovo Agency of Statistics (KAS) has published the "Gross Domestic Product" (GDP) in the third quarter 2018 by economic activity and expenditure approach at current and constant prices.
GDP in Q3 of 2018 marks a real increase of 3.4% compared to Q3 of 2017.
Real GDP growth by economic activity is as follows: Financial and insurance activities (19.8%); Construction (15.4%); Real estate business (2.6%); Hotels and restaurants (2.0%); Agriculture, hunting, forestry (1.9%); Transport and storage (1.7%); Wholesale and retail trade (1.4%); Public administration (1.1%).
While the real decrease was in the following data: Electricity, water supply and waste treatment (6.6%); Extracting industry (3.6%); Manufacturing industry (1.5%).
GDP by expenditure approach has increased in: the Gross fixed capital formation (24.6%); Import of goods and services (8.4%); Final consumption expenditure and non-profit institutions serving household (NPISHs) (8.4%).
Meanwhile, there was a real decrease in data of: Export of goods and services (8.0%); Government consumption expenditures (4.6%), compared to the same period of the previous year.
