      1. The main objectives of Statistics energy is to provide the basic data that are related to: Electricity, energy fuels, coal production, energy production, gross energy production, net energy production, electricity import, export of electricity, exchanges of electricity, energy losses, consumption and distribution of electricity.

      1. Electricity - means the form of energy which is transported through metal conductors. Energy - means any form of produced or obtained energy (electricity, heat or natural gas) intended for supply or sale. Energy source - fuels which release energy during combustion in a word are called energy source. Production of coal - Represents the amount of coal extracted from the mines. Electricity production - represents the amount of energy produced in power plants and hydropower plants. Production of Energy - means the production of electricity, heat or any other form of energy. Gross energy production - represents all the amount of electricity production in power plants or hydro. Net energy production - represents the amount of electricity to the brink. Imports of electricity - represents the amount of electricity purchased outside the state. Exports of electricity - represents the amount of energy sold outside the state. Exchanges of electricity - represent the amount of electricity exchanged with foreign state. Losses of electricity - represent the amount of electricity that is lost in transmission and distribution. Consumer - means the customer to purchase wholesale or final customer of energy. Eligible customers (220 -110kV) - are the biggest consumers (0.4 KV) exercising of eligible customer status. Distribution - means that transport of electricity, heat or natural gas through high voltage lines, medium or medium-pressure pipelines or low, in order of a delivery to customers, but not including supply.

      1. KAS is committed to quality assurance in the production of official statistics. Based on the "Law On Official Statistics, Law 04 / L-036", KAS uses statistical methods and processes in accordance with internationally accepted scientific principles and standards and conducts ongoing analyzes in order to improve the quality and delivery of updated statistics. In carrying out its duties, KAS follows the overall quality management principles, in line with the European Statistics Code of Practice. KAS has developed a Quality Statement which is available on the KAS website: http://ask.rks-gov.net/media/1890/statement-of-quality.pdf . The document lists eleven principles, much in line with the CoP principles like professional independence and statistical confidentiality, on which the work of KAS is based.

      1. During July 2017, in Kosovo Agency of Statistics was conducted the process of assessment of the Kosovo Statistical System through the “Peer Review” approach.
      1. The main objective is to provide the basic data needed for policy at the national level in the energy sector by the Ministry of Economic Development, the private sector and other internal users and external.
      1. One of the key elements to ensure the quality of statistical data is the measurement of the satisfaction of users. The survey aims to gather comprehensive information on the needs and requirements of users of official statistical data. Through this survey the users of statistical data have expressed their thoughts and opinions regarding statistical views, they have provided advice and suggestions regarding their needs for statistics and how to improve these statistical data in the future. This survey was conducted during the conference held with the users of statistical data, in which 11 users responded.       1. For energy prices, reference period is 6 months (one semester), where data are sent to Eurostat after 60 days of the end of the 6 month period. Regarding the data consumption of electricity and other energy fuel, the reference period is 3 months and as such is published after 70 days of the end of the quarter.
